Putting this website together required revisiting several former versions of myself—we mostly got along. Then came the business of making everything smaller. People I interrogated transformed into thumbnails. Months of obsessing fit neatly under a headline.
The work here looks remarkably composed, considering. No trace of the sentence that held everything up or the idea that arrived after we’d agreed to stop having ideas. I could tell you quite a bit about it. For now, welcome. I’m glad you found your way here.

I have never once believed “that’s interesting” was an appropriate place to stop. Spirituality, creativity, the strange business of being a person—I wanted to spend more time with all of it. In Costa Rica, that exploration included co-founding SURÁ, a retreat space on the edge of paradise. With Cobalt + Capulets, that curiosity deepens into identity, culture, and patterns we mistake for ourselves. The rest is less résumé-friendly.
